General Information
The Home Builders Association of Greenwood chartered when a small group of builders came together with a vision to organize and better represent the housing industry on issues that affect our ability to provide affordable housing for all citizens of Greenwood, SC. Since 1975 our Association has been dedicated to professionals in residential construction and remodeling in the Lakelands area. In 2006 our name was changed to The Lakelands Home Builders Association in order to recognize members throughout our local area.

As the voice of the housing industry, the HBA is very active politically, to ensure that elected leaders understand the role of housing in the economy and our role of providing shelter for all families

Our association believes in giving back to our community. Scholarships have been given to The G. Frank Russell Career Center and Piedmont Technical College on an annual basis. It is our intention to offer scholarships in the future.
